    Commercial Delivery Group

    CDG provides the Department of Finance (DoF) P3O service and acts as the lead P3O supporting a network of P3Os across the NICS. The group undertakes data collection on all Major Programmes and Projects across the Northern Ireland public sector and provides reports to the DoF Departmental Board and the NICS Board.

    Property rating

    Information on domestic and non-domestic rating, including how your rates are calculated and how to pay your rate bill

    Property valuation

    Information on domestic and non domestic valuation; specialist schemes that apply to some non domestic properties and how to appeal your valuation if you think it is incorrect.

    Land registration

    Find information on recording legal interests in land and maintaining a register of land ownership.

    Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland

    Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland (OSNI) is the official producer of high quality, accurate and current geographic mapping data for Northern Ireland.

    Building Regulations and energy efficiency of buildings

    Information on Building Regulations and the Energy Performance of Buildings in Northern Ireland including legislation, guidance and technical details

    Civil law reform

    Reform and development of the civil law in Northern Ireland, including private family law, trusts and property law, tort and private international law

    Account NI

    Account NI provides standardised financial transaction and reporting services to the NICS Departments along with their associated Agencies and other bodies, and the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) equating to over 23,000 customers.

    Innovation and Consultancy Services (ICS)

    Innovation and Consultancy Services (ICS) provides a range of professional services to the public sector, drawing from the expertise previously available separately in Business Consultancy Services (BCS) and the Innovation Lab (iLab). The NICS Library Service also sits under ICS.

    Digital, Security and Finance Shared Services (DSF)

    Digital, Security and Finance Shared Services (DSF) brings together responsibility for Information Technology (IT), Digital Security and Engagement, Finance Shared Services, the Network & Information Systems Competent Authority and Regulator for NI and the Integr8 Programme.

    NIS Competent Authority

    The Department of Finance (DoF) is the competent authority designated within the Network and Information Systems (NIS) regulations 2018 for operators of essential services (OES).
