New guidance and FAQs have been published on the COVID-19 Staff Information hub.

Annual Leave

Annual leave allows all of us to take paid time off from work for the purpose of having regular breaks so that they can rest and re-energise. Employees who take regular leave can be more motivated about their work and perform more effectively than those who do not.

It is the NICS aim that everyone should have the opportunity to take the leave to which they are entitled, and that the organisation manages leave in such a way that ensures delivery of our business.

We have published some updates to our annual leave guidance and FAQs on the NICS Covid-19 Staff Information Hub. This guidance and the FAQs are aimed at assisting individuals and managers and complement the current HR policy on Annual Leave.
