COVID Wellbeing NI – Alcohol and Your Wellbeing

Last week saw the launch of the COVID Wellbeing NI website. This online hub has been developed to support the mental and emotional wellbeing of people across Northern Ireland during and after the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

It includes information, self-help guides and support, and aims to help people to take steps to look after their mental health and reach out for help and support when needed.

Each week the hub will be running a campaign around a topic of mental wellbeing. This week’s topic is ‘Alcohol and Your Wellbeing’.

Alcohol and Your Wellbeing

On the hub you will find a range of factsheets and guidance from Addiction NI on the topic of ‘Alcohol and Your Wellbeing’ looking at alcohol and sleep and how it affects children and your emotions.

There are also a number of number of self-help tools and guidance to support your wellbeing including an ‘Alcohol and You’ toolkit.

If you are concerned about your own alcohol consumption or a friend or relatives please visit the hub to find out more information.
