Education Authority Shortlisted for a Digital Leaders 100 Award 2020 – Get Voting

The Education Authority’s (EA) Admissions, Digital Transformation and ICT Teams have been named as a finalist in the Digital Leaders 100 Awards 2020, which celebrate the best in UK digital transformation.

EA has been shortlisted in the ‘Digital Public Service Innovation’ category for their Digital Admissions submission which highlighted the work they Digital Leaders vote now have undertaken to digitally transform the pre-school and primary admissions process. This involved providing a new modern, efficient digital facility for parents to apply for admission to schools/pre-school providers participating in the Pre-School Education Programme (PSEP), and for schools/providers to manage these applications.

Other shortlisted entries include Southwark Council, BookingLive, Edinburgh Council, Dorset Council, Ofsted, Medway Council, Office for National Statistics and DWP Digital.

The shortlisted entries are now subject to a public vote with the top three finalists going forward for the next round of judging.
