This Go ON NI initiative is coordinated by Department of Finance Digital Inclusion and Business in the Community (BITC) to help provide some digital help to anyone who would have either technical difficulties with any of their devices or require certain guidance with skills to complete the task in hand.
You can either contact the service by text or by telephone.
The text service is set up through NICS NIDirect so all you need to do is:
Text the word DIGITAL to 67300* with a short description of what you need help with. A volunteer will then return the call within 48 hours with free advice on topics such as: email, attachments, staying safe online, online payments, shopping online, saving and sharing photos, computer settings, Skype/Facetime/Facebook/Social Media.
Alternatively telephone 07551852684 and leave your name, number and short message about your digital issue on the voicemail. Again, one of our volunteers will come back to you within 48 hours. The volunteers are through private and public Corporate Social Responsibility volunteering opportunities and any of your personal information is securely held.
