MyNI has teamed up with the Natural Environment Division, the Climate
A main focus of the campaign will be nature and how it provides solutions for climate change, air quality, biodiversity, energy, transport, food, health, the economy and more.
The campaign will also support the COP26 initiatives ‘Together for our Planet’, ‘Count Us In’ and ‘Race to Zero’ - aiming to encourage NI wide engagement ahead of the November 2021 UN Climate Change conference.
Eileen Curry head of MyNI said: “We have some very exciting plans for the year ahead to encourage people across Northern Ireland to embrace and benefit from a Nature-led way of life. We will encourage positive actions that will be for the good of nature, our local habitats and species and ultimately for the good of us all.
“MyNI campaign activity will be co-designed with a range of internal and external partners, ensuring that we’re telling our audiences about the best information and services available.
“MyNI will also shortly be launching its new-look website which will provide links to vital and trusted information. It will showcase some of the brilliant work that is already taking place out there on the ground, on farms, in businesses and in people’s back gardens to help nature and the environment.
“We have a great story to tell and we hope you will join us along the way on Facebook, twitter and Instagram @MyNILife.”
In the meantime check out MyNI’s latest film which gives a flavour of the forthcoming NI Climate Action Campaign.
