The purpose of this EPN is to inform employers that:    

  •     Civil Service Pensions (CSP) will issue a letter informing all current  NICS staff of increased member contributions for the PCSPS(NI)  from 1 April 2014 (a copy of the letter is attached at Annex A);  
  •   a notice to all Heads of Branches (copy attached at Annex B) will  be added to the HRConnect Portal and CSP also arrange for the  Heads of Branches notice to be emailed via the IT Assist and DOI  networks;  
  •   the notice to Heads of Branches should be issued to those Heads of  Branches who do not have access to HRConnect or are not  covered by the IT Assist or DOI networks;  
  •   there is a Q&A for staff on Pension Contribution Increases 2014/15  available on the PCSPS(NI) website under  “Latest News” (copy  attached at Annex C); and  
  •   there will be a message in the March 2014 payslips informing  staff of the changes.
