EPN 08/2012 A - Increased Employee Contributions for the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (Northern Ireland) - Additional Q & A briefing for staff.

The purpose of this EPN is to:
- provide staff with additional Q & A briefing on increases to employee contribution rates for the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (Northern Ireland) for year 2012-13;
- inform employers of interim arrangements which will apply for recording employee contributions until PenServer is updated;
- advise employers that the attached Employees Pension Notice will be added to the HRConnect portal to provide an update for staff, and
- notify employers that Civil Service Pensions will arrange for staff covered by the IT Assist or DOI networks to receive the notice.
