EPN 15 - 2013 A - Removal of Pensions letters of appointment and REVISED PENSIONS QUESTIONNAIRE

The purpose of this EPN is to: 

  • inform employers of the removal of the pensions information from the Candidate Information Booklet (see paragraph 4 of this EPN) for use for staff appointed on or after 1 February 2013;  
  • inform employers of the revised pension text, attached at Annex A, for inclusion in letters of appointment for staff appointed on or after 1 February 2013 from the implementation of Automatic Enrolment in the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS), its agencies and Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) in the HRConnect family;
  • inform employers of changes to the Pensions Questionnaire, attached at Annex B, for staff appointed on or after 1 February 2013; and
  • inform employers that recruitment procedures have changed and are attached at Annex C.
