  • Ó Muilleoir visits Narrow Water Bridge site

    Finance Minister Máirtín Ó Muilleoir today visited the Narrow Water Bridge site and met with local representatives to discuss the project.

    The Minister said: “The Executive and the Irish Government have agreed to undertake a review of the project with a view to identifying options for its future development.

    “I am aware of the strong support for the project in the local area and I am a strong advocate of bridge-building, both physical and metaphorical, between our peoples and I am inspired by the commitment of communities on both sides of the border to deliver the Narrow Water Bridge project.”

    “I was pleased to meet with supporters of the bridge project and with the Narrow Water Bridge Community Network, Co Louth TD Gerry Adams and South Down MLA Caitríona Ruane to discuss the economic merits of this project.”
