Disposal of surplus public sector assets
Land & Property Services (LPS) provide valuation services to support the disposal of surplus public sector assets across Northern Ireland.
Role of Strategic Asset Management Unit (SAMU)
SAMU is part of LPS and is responsible for:
- overseeing and managing the D1 Register, a central repository of all formally declared surplus public sector assets
- providing oversight and guidance on the Disposal Policy and disposal procedures
- overseeing and implementing the disposal process

Initiating the Disposal Process
