The Department invited responses to the proposals for amending the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012.

The main purpose of the amendment is to advance the objectives of the building regulations by implementing outstanding requirements of the Recast Energy Performance of Builidngs Directive 2010/31/EU (EPBD2).
