Each UK government department and all devolved administrations have an obligation to provide Her Majesty's Treasury (HMT) with monthly outturn and forecast outturn information. This guidance sets out how this year’s outturn and forecast outturn exercises should be completed and the indicative timetable for the completion of each exercise. Departments will be advised of any changes to this timetable once HMT confirm their return dates.
