The Public Service Pensions (Employer Cost Cap) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 are consequential to the Public Service Pensions (Valuations and Employer Cost Cap) Directions (Northern Ireland) 2014 which were made on 26 November 2014 under section 11 and 12 of the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014.
The Public Service Pensions (Employer Cost Cap) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 set the ‘floor’ and ‘ceiling’ margins for the employer cost cap that each of the public service schemes are required to provide for in their scheme regulations and to operate from 1 April 2015.
