Transfer Slabs

The Department has developed the following Information Note to raise awareness of a potential structural safety issue associated with existing transfer slabs. It also highlights relevant structural design guidance for new transfer slab construction, as well as for works involving alterations or a material change of use in existing buildings containing transfer slabs.
