  • Foster welcomes new siege museum with Apprentice Boys of Derry

    The Finance Minister, Arlene Foster has welcomed a new EU funded Siege Museum and Shared Space Visitors Centre in Londonderry.

    The Minister met with representatives of the Apprentice Boys of Derry at the Museum, which is due to open in December. The centre is located in Society Street, Londonderry and will provide a 5,000 square foot purpose built visitor space detailing how the events of the Siege of Londonderry 1688-89 shaped the political landscape in Ireland and Europe.
