Civil Service Pension (NI) Complaints and appeals procedures
Civil Service Pensions (NI) aim to provide a high quality and efficient service. However, there may be times when problems do arise and the expected standard of service is not received. In order to ensure that CSP(NI) deal with all matters effectively, certain complaints and appeals procedures have been put in place. CSP(NI) will react positively to complaints and use the information from them to continue to improve the standard of our service in the future.
Complaints and comments about service
If you have a complaint about the level of service, this leaflet below will give you more information. This complaints procedure does not apply to disputes about actual benefit entitlement under the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) pension schemes.
Internal Dispute Resolution
This leaflet below provides an outline for scheme members of how the internal dispute resolution (IDR) procedures work for disputes about actual benefit entitlement under the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) pension schemes.
Medical Appeals Process
MAP is an appeals mechanism where the dispute is based on the medical opinion rather than the scheme rules. See leaflet below for more information.
