    Construction & Procurement Delivery (CPD) has established this framework to provide Disposal Services for IT Equipment, Electronic and Electrical equipment.

    Project Title and Reference Number: ID 5590036 DoF - FRAMEWORK FOR DISPOSAL SERVICES FOR IT EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

    The disposal services framework is the disposal of IT Equipment, Electrical and Electronic Equipment.  This includes data wiping and disposal of items which must be disposed in accordance with the WEEE regulations. To ensure ongoing value for money, a multi-supplier framework is proposed for contracts to be awarded via secondary competitions directly by participating bodies which must be conducted by the participating body in line with the framework protocol.

    Social Value

    This Contract includes Social Value.  All users of the Contract must ensure the read the Social Value Schedule at Appendix 1 of the Framework Specification document and in particular the following section of this Schedule;

    “1.0  Donation of Data Bearing Devices to an organisation or organisations within the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector within Northern Ireland

    For each Call-Off containing data bearing devices under the Framework, the Supplier must donate a minimum of 2.5% of the total reusable data bearing devices per Call-Off to an organisation(s) within the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector in Northern Ireland to support people at risk of digital exclusion and / the digital transformation of the sector. The Supplier will confirm the timeframes, quantities and recipient organisation(s) with the Authority prior to delivery.

    The Supplier is responsible for ensuring that any device donated is compliant with all relevant data security and health and safety standards.”
