Good invoicing practice
NICS prompt payment tables
A target is in place for all NICS departments to pay valid invoices within 10 working days. Payment processing performance tables show each department's performance against this target.
National fraud initiative – data matching
Government departments are required by law to protect the public funds they administer. They may share information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds in order to prevent and detect fraud.
