Northern Ireland House Price Index
The Index is designed to provide a measure of change in the price of a residential property sold in Northern Ireland. The report is updated quarterly and contains information on the average property price and number of sales as well as the index value. The full price and index series from Q1 2005 is available at the link below.
Quarter 4, 2024 - publication
Results for the fourth quarter of 2024 (October to December) are provided in the statistical reports below.
Annual ward and Local government districts
The documents in the link below show annual descriptive price statistics for each calendar year 2005 to 2023 for 11 Local Government Districts and 462 electoral wards.
Future publication dates
Next release date: Wednesday 21 May 2025.
As the NI HPI forms the NI component of the UK HPI it is not possible to publish NI figures in advance of the UK release.
