NICS Pension Schemes - McCloud Judgment Remedy FAQs

What will happen to the contributions I’ve made during the remedy period?

From 1 April 2015, the vast majority of contribution rates changed to become the same across all the Civil Service Defined Benefit pension schemes. Therefore, you would have paid the same contribution rate regardless of which scheme you were participating in. Therefore, we don’t expect to refund contributions following a choice to change scheme membership for the remedy period.
