A presentation and case studies have been developed to help you understand the alpha scheme. These were developed for staff in the Home Civil Service but the information is equally relevant to staff covered by the NICS pension arrangements.
Please note that the relevant scheme for NICS staff is the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (Northern Ireland) and not the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme which applies to the Home Civil Service.
